Goldie This fine boned 43lb speed demon only knows one pace, "all out". She possesses the stamina to back it up as well. Her father finished in lead in a winning Iditarod team. At just 2 yrs old in 2005, she led our competetive race team. Look out for Goldie and her offspring in the years to come. This dog is smart as they come. She would stand on her head for you! Will be bred to Fred summer of 2007.
Jade Jade is as good of an athlete as they come. She is the flattest running sled dog we have ever had the pleasure of running. It is difficult to tell if she is trotting or loping when in harness! Her gait is the standard for our dogs in the future. Always the cheerleader in the team, Jade is easily the happiest dog in our kennel. At just 2 yrs old in 2005, she will be contributing to the pace for many years to come.

LaVerne (Brown and cream dog just behind black and white leader) A success story all her own, this former competitive limited class sprint dog came to us as a 7 year old in the summer of 2004. We purchased her on pedigree and build alone with only the hopes of her raising and training puppies. Before we knew it, LaVerne was routinely leading our race team and doing a fine job of it. From never having ran more than 7 miles at a time, this remarkable dog found herself leading Laura's 6 dog team to a 3rd place finish in the 43 mile 6 Dog Pro Class at the Tahquamenon Country Sleddog Race. She is a very sweet dog that looks up at you with big brown eyes that will make your heart melt.
Buddha This male is nothing short of incredible. Easily the best yearling I have ever ran. We have 3 litters out of him. They are impressive as well. Look out for him in the years to come. Contributing to our main team this year.
Hope Buddha's lone littermate. Hope was a swimmer pup and the vets thought she may have a palette issue as well as deformed left rear leg when we had her looked over as pup. It's obvious now, that she is "A-ok" without one defect. She is one of the nicer gaited dogs we own and routinely runs lead. A very good athelete with a good head. She is becoming a main leader and won her first pro class race in lead in only her second race ever.

Audrey Audrey came to us from the kennel of Robert Bundtzen and Zack Steer in AK. Currently she is the biggest asset in our kennel. She won the Copper Basin in lead in 2003. Her first litter was a huge success with Robert and Zack. Four out of 5 made the top team and the other finished the Iditarod the second team. One of her sons led Zack's team to second place in the Yukon Quest as a yearling and most recently lead Zack to 3rd place in the 2007 Iditarod. She is a nicely gaited, hard driving command leader, with a powerful fast trot and lopes readily. We have a litter of eight out of her that look really good. Due to whelp another litter for us in April.
Reggae AKA Ragged Dog. Real nice main team dog. Runs point and does a pretty good job of it. Has a nice direct lope and seems to not get tired. Pretty much an invisable dog in the team.
Prophet One of our top yearlings. Racing with main team at less than 18 months of age. When viewing his pedigree it is plain to see why he is able to perform at such a level at a young age. Showing lead potential.
Karma AKA mighty mite. Nice little dog that has trained and raced with the main team as a yearling. Prophet's sister. Does not like strangers but is great with us.
Tuffy Named after Frank's grandfather who was nick named Tuffy. This young lad has manged to stay up and contribute to the main team as a 15/16 month old. He is really vigorous. He got a pro class win with the main team already! He is very playfull and annoys his siblings and other dogs because he is always in their face wanting to play. Should be a main string dog for many years. Already running lead.
Hagler Grey and white dog. This guy really wants to be a sled dog. He gives all he has. We backed off him just before the racing season but he trained with the main dogs till that time. Hagler is a wreck going down the trail. He resembles an octapus falling from a window. The olny thing that looks good is the tug line and that is what counts. It is likely that he will be in the main string next season as a two year old.
Ellen Really driven yearling. Something clicked with this dog in late fall training and she became a crazy hard driving maniac. Not sure how she can keep running as hard as she does for as far as she does. She crabs a bit but smooths out with speed.
Nimbus AKA Nimbusol. Nice male pup out of Buddha and Goldie. This breeding was an attempt to double back on Beta. Nimbus and his sister Cloud turned out to be very nicely built athletic dogs that are naturals. Pulled from the first step in harness like veterans. Nimbus is all about food and running. He is naturally muscular and moves very direct. Should be a good dog when he comes of age. Interesting trait of this line is that from the first time they are hooked in harness they just stand in their place until you go. No tangles, chewing or anything. All of them pull almost immediately from the start of the first run.

Iago Nice male purchased from Matt and Sara Weik. Iago was whelped by Cliff Wang and sold to the Weiks as a young dog where he raced for 3 seasons in their team. He has never been dropped and ran in a team that posted some very nice times including a win at the White Oak and 2nd at Tahquamenon. He will be five when we go racing in 2008. Excelent appetite and work ethic. Super light on his feet also. A very welcome addition.
Fred Retired ONAC leader brought down for a stud and to train pups. Fred rocks! Just a nice dog to have around the kennel. Can't wait to run his offspring. He has bred Audrey, and Jade. Pete and Sharon Nelson/Curtice bred their main leader and producer "Hurricane" to him as well and are expecting pups in early May 2007.
